Hi, trying to gather some information, I have a roland vh13 hihat witch is working good for bow and edge sound , I check on few sites and the vh13 hihat is advertise as a 3 zone hihat, sd support bell edge bow for the hihat, can someone tell me if it is only a 2 zone hihat or I can trigger the 3 zone, I have tried many config and cannot seems to be able to pull 3 different hit, checking on the screen and can only get the green and blue hit bar like no other note triggering. missing bell sound hihat.
Thanks,

VH13 is the HiHat pedal controller, not the HiHat cymbal. Number of the HiHat cymbal zones depends on the type of the cymbal. If it is a Roland 3 way cymbal then it must have two stereo cables to connect to the module. If it has only one cable then it is a 2 zone cymbal.

Hi Dmitri,
VH 13 are the cymbal , vh13 mg metallic gray 2 cymbal, 1 stereo jack output for cymbal and 1 jack for the controller.

If it has only one stereo output from the cymbal then it is a 2 zone HiHat cymbal. Roland 3 zone cymbals have two stereo outputs.

Hi!
I can just confirm that the VH-13 is a 2 zone hi-hat. The CY-13R e-cymbal and CY-15R are three zones.
Best regards
