HighLevel does not work properly?

Hello.
I recently got Megadrum and downloaded newest Megadrum Manager and newest firmware version 20160406.
I began configuring my mesh pads following these instructions (suggested steps for configuring a mesh pad for best triggering)
but my problems starts on step one where HighLevel must be set correctly for the pad.
AltFalseTrSupp is set to no,
I insert HighLevel to 100, click HighLevel Auto on and start hitting the pad a few times.
The problem is this. No matter how hard I hit any of these pads. HighLevel won't go higher than 571.
It is almost like there is some kind of limiter involved in this and there should not be any as far as I can tell.
Any help is much appreciated.

I don't see anything wrong, it just means the piezo's signal is max'ed out and it won't produce higher signala no mater how hard you hit it.

But the same effect happens in every meshpad i have. Surely it cannot be a coincidence.
I mean it's very hard to configure the pads (at least for me) when the HighLevel stops in 571
and you know it should be higher, because it does not take much of a force to reach that number.
Is in it suppose to be the strongest hit so you can get much larger dynamic range?

I still don't see anything wrong. Your piezos are maxed out so they cannot produce a stronger signal. Are these pads diy?

Hi,

I built the kit sevastra is working on. We´ve been figuring out the setup together so I´m pretty much aware of the state of this issue too.

Meshpads are DIY Acoustic conversion pads but the cymbal pads are Alesis and Millenium. The last time I checked with him the high level didn´t go above 571 on the Hihat cymbal either which is a 3 zone piezo/switch/switch pad.

There was a moment when the high level auto was set using megadrum instead of megadrum manager, and the reading was higher. But it went back down to 571 when using the manager.

We just keep on wondering how all the piezos can be so precisely maxed out on the same given value.

Do I understand it right?

1. You have several (how many?) DIY meshpads and they all max out at 571.
2. You use the same piezo type in all meshpads.
3. You have a DIY cymbal which also is maxed out at 571.
4. You use the same piezo type in the cymbal as in the meshpads.

1. Meshpads: Two 13" pads, two 12" pads and two 10" pads.
2. These all have the same type 27mm piezo, all max out on 571
3. No DIY cymbals. Max out at 571
4.-

What happens if you drop the gain level? Does that give you a different high level?
