Yamaha RHH135 Controller

Postby AndyB » Sat Jun 18, 2016 3:33 am

Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I managed to start to get the Yamaha RHH135 hats to work. Not great but I have them. But the Controller...I get no response from. I posted some pics. I would appreciate Any help from experienced users of these hats and controller. Even setting suggestions better for sensitivity would be a great help. I based the set up of the pad and controller on this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/inkamgrcvminf ... 5pedal.PNG Thanks Guys. Andy

MegaDrum modules by default use Roland's HiHat polarity unless I'm told to build it with Yamaha polarity. You can use a crossover cable to convert you Yamaha to Hihat polarity to Roland polarity.

What is a crossover cable can you point me out an example? Dmitri I read somewhere that for FSR (Aquarian on-head & on-head pads) you do not need their in-box is this true? Or is it only on certain channels?

A crossover cable is a cable where tip from one end goes to ring on the other end and vice versa.

FSR requires a power source. If this is what "in-box" does then you need it.

Yes, you change tip and ring wires only at one end.

Well we redid this twice and with the scope it looks like it's correct but still doesn't work. Is there a setting wrong in my MDM pics?

Well, If you re did this twice you would be back to the start, surely?I don't get why you need a scope to reverse 2 wires. I'm lost.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.
