Increasing the number of Hi Hat Note options within MD

Hey everyone! I've been away from the forums for a while, as the writing and playing have been flawless. Over the time, I've experimented with some other drum libraries other than Superior Drummer 2. One thing I've noticed is that many of these hypersampled libraries are including more that 4 layers of Hi Hats from closed to open.
MD and MDM show only 4 places to place hi hat notes, but I have some libraries with up to 8. Are there any plans or possibilities of adding more slots for more hi hat notes to use all the sampled sounds from these libraries?
Thanks for any insight!

VSTs that can interpret CC data from the module (most if not all of the major ones) don't need to be sent those 4/8/whatever notes for each level - they just play however many different notes they have depending on the CC data received. In theory MD can give you up to 128 different hi hat levels. You have to use 'Type = FootContr', and then I'm not too sure about how to leave the notes, I suppose it depends on the VST. Addictive Drums has 6 levels and ignores the notes it gets sent from the module, so they can be left at 0. Check the VST user manual, it should talk about how to do it; but as I say, there's no need for more note slots in MD.

Yes I understand all this, and I would use this approach in most cases. I guess the question came up when I started using drum libraries with Kontakt 5...i just can't seem to figure out where to adjust CC info for the drums, especially with the new Getgood Drums library. Their UI doesn't have any options other than assigning notes, and there are 7 levels.
I will look for a manual, maybe there will be some info on how to configure the hats within the Kontakt player, but as I mentioned I just can't find out where that is.
