I've used the search and haven't found too much help other than a voltage divider should be used if pads are too hot... As it seems it's the case with all my pads (They are the stock mesh heads from an old TD-9 Kit, so PD-105 for snare and PD-85 for Toms).
Going through the procedure of adjusting high level I consistenly get values of around a 1000 while still getting 127 velocity with, what feels to me, moderate hits.
I guess that qualifies me for voltages dividers, but here is the big question... How do I actually do that? Is it just a trim potentiometer before the input? If so what kind?
Also, on a side note, I've installed the positional sensing add on I got from dmitri. With this installed it seems not all hits are being correctly received or interpreted as such. I can't do rolls, that I can without the addon. Ever other hit is just not happening. I've shorted the port that provides +5V, but didn't make a difference.
Thanks in advance!
