Fresh restrt of 56 input Megadrum...Yamaha TP120SD issue

Postby AndyB » Sun Oct 30, 2016 4:54 pm

Ok So i am retrying a fresh start at Megadrum. I have encountered this issue...the the yamaha TP120SD is misfiring...but more of an issue is the rim trigger turns it off & on

My settings https://www.dropbox.com/s/20lrh5t6hpuwx ... 4.jpg?dl=0

The Raw head midi https://www.dropbox.com/s/p6mk7koyocgzd ... 7.jpg?dl=0

The choke on & off that happens after a few hits..then I need to hit it on the rim 5x for it to restatrt

..whats happens here?? Any clue as to what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Andy

It is not convenient to use dropbox . Please attach images to the post with "Add the file" and it will much easier to see the screenshots.

I don't see a problem in the MIDI Log. Can you explain it in a bit more detail?

The on off choke in the midi data..it seems to turn the snare sounds off or on. It is not another zone like rim or sidestick. It's the same with the Yamaha Tp120sd & to 65s

I still don't get what the problem is. If you don't want a separate sound when the rim switch is pressed just set the BNote to be equal to the Snare note.

I'd like the rim to trigger a rimshot and the 3rd zone to trigger sidestick if possible..right now there is no sound and you have to hit it 6 times to get any sound back and eventually it stops producing sound again and you must hit the zone six times again for sound

I'll dig my TP120SD tonight/tomorrow and will try to reproduce the problem.

Thank you. I will eventually change the snare out. But for now this is what I'm using.

dmitri I was wondering of you had any success in your tp120sd reproduction. Thanks
