Jobeky Hardware

Postby casetero » Thu Jun 15, 2017 3:33 pm

Hello,

I´ve been a e-drummer for about 4 years, i have a yamaha dtxtreme III kit with at least 15 years of life ( i purchased it in second hand). I play it with VST (superior or BFD) and it sounds great but i would like to improve mi gear with a custom e-kit like jobeky or drumtec.

The big problem for me is the price of the module, so id like to ask about the megadrum module.

I think the best combo for me is something like this:

https://jobekydrums.co.uk/product/jobek ... um-kit-hs/

With the Roland VH-13 as hit-hat, adding a megadrum module to the combo. Do u know if the megadrum will be capable of using all the features of the VH-13 hit-hat and the Roland cymbals??

I´m pretty confident with computers configurations so i dont mind wasting some time to configure it, but i want to be sure that with time i will be able to use this hardware with my VST´s like if i have a TD-50 module.

If you dont recommend me the megadrum module, which module would be capable of using all the features of the VH-13, roland cymbals, and jobeky triggers being the cheapest i can find? the sounds of the module are totally irrelevant for me.

Thank you very much and sorry for my english!

Best regards!

If it has a piezo inside (most drums/triggers/cymbals do) then it is fine for Megadrum.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

Mega drum module will work with Roland, and anything else that uses standard Piezo triggers. I use a mix of Roland and Pearl E-cymbals. Get the Mega drum module, and use a good drum vst, its worth it. Plus triggering a vst always sounds better than anything pre-loaded into any module
