DIY dual zone pads

Hi All

I've not seen a post about this precise topic - I have a self made DIY kit, connected to a Yamaha DT Xpress III module. In order to get my dual zone snare and dual zone ride to work, I've had to make a few Keith Raper circuits, which converts Piezo - Piezo pads to act like Piezo - Switch pads.

I'm --->this<--- close to buying a Megadrum module, if somebody could answer a simple question: If I was to make a simple dual zone pad, could I just wire up the two piezos to a stereo jack and have Megadrum configure the pad as a true dual zone? Or will I need to add a circuit to the piezos like the raper circuit?

Thanks in advance

MD deals with all kinds of piezo switch combinations but it's not plug and play, just to forewarn you.

I don’t mind spending time figuring the configuration out. I just wanted to know if it’s a do-able thing using a simple two piezos wired to a stereo jack setup. Can anyone confirm that MD can handle this and be configured to give an accurate dual zone setup?

Clearly not me then!

Dual zone piezo/piezo pads work fine with MegadDrum without additional circuits.
