Dis/Enabling inputs seems to effect other inputs settings

I'm setting up my e-drum kit and noticed something strange. At first I've disabled all inputs and started configuring the settings one input at a time. I first set up my kick and snare drum, then continued with the toms and I'm now working on the ride cymbal, the two crash cymbals and the hi-hat. I had already noticed that when I enabled the ride inputs (inputs 26/27) the rim input of tom1 (inputs 6/7) started false triggering and I had to raise the threshold to stop this. I got all three zones of the ride cymbal (Yamaha PCY155) working fine and continued with the cymbals and hi-hat settings. When I enabled the hi-hat head/bow input the ride continued to work fine (with all three zones and choke function). But as soon as I enable the rim/edge input of the hihat input (inputs 2/3) I get random chokes from my ride cymbal, the three zones doesn't work anymore and I just can't get the settings right. So my question is: could it be that disabling/enabling inputs effect or influence other inputs settings..??

It shouldn't effect settings but will effect sampling rate - the fewer enabled inputs the higher sampling rate per input.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm finally getting my pd-9's setup correctly, I have the ride/head bell/rim working good, but as soon as I enable one of my aux inputs it throws off my ride settings and I have to make adjustments to the threshold on the rim

When I'm back I will check it.

I´ve had the same experiences, but, keep it up, and finally you´ll get there! Started setting up one tom untill it was working fine, then the rest of the toms, no problem, added the snare, no problem, the I started working on a cymbal, and that suddenly meant that I had rims misfiring all over the place - this kept happening whenever I opened up a new channel on the MD.

I just kept working on it, opening up new channels and solving the new problems this caused, and now, finally, I´m pretty close to where it´s a great and useful tool!!!!

Hey Dmitri, did you ever get a chance to check into this? the problem gets worse with every input I enable on a 56 input module.

I have a backlog of orders Christmas/NY which I have to finish on time. I'll have time to look into it this weekend.

I just published a new firmware version, 20180121, where this problem is fixed.

I finally got around to updating the firmware. Being this addressed the issue with the adding of inputs effecting other pads. I assume it's normal that when I loaded my preset after the firmware upgrade I had to once again tweak all the pads? As soon as I loaded my preset, all the pads were triggering as if it was the first time using the MD.

If you had many inputs disabled in old presets then yes.
