aftertouch issues

Hi all,

I've been struggling with getting my cymbals done correctly. I have 2 types of cymbals, one is the Yamaha PCY135 and the other one is a Yamaha PCY65. One is single zone, the other 3 zone.

During my playing on my e-drums, all of a (random) sudden the crash sounds chokes. And it doesn't unchoke untill I restart cubase or wait for a long time. I couldn't find what it triggered this, untill today. I used Midi-OX during my recording and saw that a Aftertouch event occured during the change from normal cymbal sound to choke. see below

Image

The crash (in this case) is the PCY135, but they both act the same.

The configuration of this cymbal is as follows

in case you guys need my overall settings, here is the export of my megadrums

1. Why are both Edge and Bell zones are disabled?
2. The Aftertouch messages are not for the inputs (notes) shown in the screenshot. This is probably because the Edge and Bell zones are disabled.

Because of the aftertouch issue I wanted to have the most basic note when I hit the cymbal. And disabling seemed logic to me. But according to your reaction I guess i'm wrong in my assumption ;)

I will enable them again and see what happens.

one question, is there a way to reset the megadrums to it's factory defaults?

Set AutoloadConf to No.
