Snare piezo and MegaDrum

Hi to all,

I'm passed from a Remo pratice pad trigged to a real snare, so after seeing varius conversion on the web i've tried mine ;) se my pics..

the problem is thet the sensitive is very low...

I need to use the CONE? or I can set something on Megadrum conf?

From the picture it looks like you've put the piezo directly under the head. This could damage the peizo if you strike it directly with the stick. Usually you put the trigger components in the following order, from bottom to top.

* Crossbar
* 2-sided foam tape cut slightly smaller than the piezo
* Piezo, BRASS side down, stuck to the 2-sided tape (accidentally typed ceramic down before)
* Foam column/Devo hat/wedding cake/cone/whatever stuck to the piezo with some thin 2-sided tape with the foam slightly compressed between the drum head and piezo. Usually you make the foam about 1/8" to 1/4" taller than the bearing edge of the drum to provide the appropriate compression.
