is possible use the DIN 5 pin midi connectors whit a extra midi I/O or power supply is necesary to connect another hardware, midi keyboard controler, for example?

I believe that solde well the cables ... is it necessary configure something in the MG in order that it works?

No, MegaDrum works as a MIDI "Pass Through".
