Hi there,
after setting up a new host PC for my Midi stuff, the MegaDrumManager told me to install the latest firmware.
I followed the instructions from the update menue from the manager.
After pressing start, it tells me 'upgrade in progress', but nothing happens anymore ... even if I waiting for 30min, nothing go further.
Any ideas what can be wrong ?

cheers
Dieter

Do you have the correct firmware and is it in the same folder as MDM?

yes, I think have the right one.
There is an 'file dialog', so you can select the path to the firmware ... could be everywere on your PC.

ok, I could fix it in this way => viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252 :D
So, the option to do a firmware update using the MDM is not working, at least here on my system.
Anyway, the hardware is back to life !

Is there a danger of bricking the system if this kind of a firmware update goes wrong?

There is no way to brick MegaDrum with failed firmware upgrade - you can always recover using viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252
