Many false notes after upgrade to FW 20200331

A few weeks ago I upgraded firmware from 20181218 to 20200331. Version 20181218 has been working perfectly, my drumset was calibrated perfectly.

However, with 20200331 all of my pads (both drums and cymbals) trigger about 5-6 notes for every single hit.

Did 20200331 (or other versions since 20181218) introduce a change which might be causing this? Of course, I could start re-calibrating all my pads but since I think this is caused by the FW I hope there is some hidden setting which I need to make and everything will be back to normal.

Any help or hint is appreciated.

As far as I know it shouldn't. Just make sure to load your previous (saved?) settings.

One thing I can think of is that either the old settings were not loaded or loaded incorrectly. Did you load them from MegaDrum internal memory or from MDMFX?

Thanks for your suggestions. I loaded my old settings from MDMFX.

Yesterday I spent some time with tinkering with the settings and it seems that the solution was to increase Retrigger from 1 to 4 for mesh pads and from 1 to 2-3 for rubber cymbals. Interesting, because with the previous FW everything worked fine with Retrigger = 1. In a few days I will have the chance to play my drums with these settings. We'll see if it works.

You'll loose nothing by setting retrih to 6

Thanks for your help. Increasing Retrigger seems to have solved the problem.
