Acrylic Sketchup case mockup

Postby bobsagat666 » Mon Jan 26, 2009 11:13 pm

here is my future case design. It consists of 3/16" green acrylic with mitered joints. The front panel has two push button rotary encoders, power switch, LED activity, midi in/out and the LCD. I am also considering doing this same design in wood instead as it would be easier and could look very nice. Any advice on miter cutting the acrylic and joining it would be helpful.

-Question: with two push button encoders what would be the best button functions to assign for bootloader/firmware upgrade functionality (yes I have read many of the threads concerning this but am still confused)?

It's up to you really. I use the LEFT button with the LEFT/RIGHT encoder and the RIGHT button with the UP/DOWN encoder.
