Trying to understand the schematics

I looked into the schematics of the Analogous board and I was wondering what the diods and the resistors where used for.

My guess is that the Diods are there to ensure that the tension coming from the jacks stays between +VCC and Ground.
This seems to be a security for the IC1, IC2 units and Atmega32. And it makes sure that all measures can be done by the Atmega32.
(but negative tensions aren't measured, then ?)

The R100 resistors seem to be there to support the switches in jacks (if they aren't there....the switch in the jack connect VCC and Ground...).
Maybee they are here to provide protection for the piezo elements too ?

Or, am I mistaken ?

correct...

the jacks are not switched, you can separate the channels into single jacks if you like.

I've put digital and analog schematics together, for all in one board. I have now 2 analog connectors (1 on analog and 1 on digital board). I connected all of those single lines , not that hard. But i dont know or dare to connect those with double lines connected to one pin. Would you make all in one board schematics and post it for download or should i post this one which probably needs 1 minut work and someone connect it? I rearanged components so its easy to follow signal flow.

Those 2 future pins on atmega are not connected. Do you need hardware modification anyway to use those ?

Your schematic is not complete ...

Why have you left both analog connectors (pin1 -> pin1 ; pin2 -> pin2 ; ...) ?
If you want to make a version 32 inputs, we must add 2 times the analog board.
Do you have a license key for DipTrace not to be limited ?

Thats why i ask you or someone else do it for me because i dont know how. Get rid of those 2 analogue connectors, and connect internaly.

I would like to make 32 inputs, but which firmware will work on it? So many versions here, confusing.
