I have a hard time getting all 3 zones to work with the last couple of firmware updates, attached a screenshot of my Ride pad settings which worked with older firmware version from 2019.
Anyone here that uses Yamaha 3 zone pads with the last update 20220530 that mind sharing their settings?

Currently with 20220530 edge zone triggers the 3rth note (same as mid pad) instead of the edge note.
Using the set all edge and bell on the module farks everything up even further by dampening and leaving dampening enabled, so have to reload my configuration to get back to normal.

Unfortunately I didn't save the working firmware archive where the pads worked flawless, which was before July 2019, probably around 20190602.

If hitting the edge triggers the 3rd zone (bell) Note, you need to lower 3rd zone Threshold.

I meant to write bow/head instead, regardless, what ever I do it ends up triggering dampening, and as said, 20190602 was around the last one where my settings did work, so somehow the firmware got changes at some point that completely made my settings for my 4 Yamaha cymbals obsolete.
Maybe a stupid question, but why is there no archive with all firmware releases available like for other soft/hardware?

Just tried again by adjusting gain and thresholds for all zones and got separation to work on 2 pads so far, still need to fine adjust some of the other settings since bell and edge gives false triggering depending on where and how I hit.
Quite some changes in values to get back on track..........
High level is set according to how I like them for these pads, since going as hard as on real cymbals needs a lot of stamina with the weight in those Yamaha's, had to raise it for the bow though.

One good thing, now the 3 pads that have the same size work by using the same settings, previously there where some differences in gain and threshold, always wondered it the pads really could be so different in tolerance.

The 3rd zone Thresholds still look suspiciously high. Normally even 3rd Threshold=0 should work for 3rd zone as the 3rd zone switch makes directly to ground when hit/pressed. What brand/type are these 3way cymbals?

Yep, why I wrote that the changes are rather drastic considering that the old value working was down at 4.
Yamaha PCY-135 and 155

PCY-135/155 should work fine with low Threshold settings - I test 3 zone functionality with PCY-135. When I'm back at the end of July I will re-test it.

Ah, sorry, will re-test it tomorrow.

I re-tested it with PCY135. The 3rd zone Threshold needs to be raised somewhat. With Gain on the Edge at 4, 3rd zone Threshold had to be above 16.
With these settings all 3 zones worked perfectly.
With ExtraFalseSupp disabled:

Was getting 3rd zone consistently on both cases.
