Ciao!
I bought a second-hand MD for my kit, and I'm working for the configuration of my set.
It works great, but I'm not completely satisfied with the setup of my DIY dual piezo snare drum (13", center cone): not so much dynamic whit medium and hard strokes. To solve this I'm considering the option to use a Trim pot to lower down the input signal, but I'm not sure about the value of the Trim to be used and where to put it on the circuit:
1 Resistance Value
I've read many post on the forum, finding different values used: 50-100K, 20K, 50K, 10-47k. Any suggestion on this?
2 Trim Position and Wiring
The only clear wiring scheme I found is from Theblackcat in this post:

Is this OK?
In the same post Theblackcat put a photo with wiring directly inside the MD module. This configuration will clearly lower both head and rim input of the same ratio: this can affect Positional Sensing capability in MD?
Thank you
