delay while drumming

Hello
I have built megadrum 32 version with the synthex 2.7 pcb and i use toontrack ezdrummer software.
The problem is while i drumming , from the moment i hit on the drum to the moment that i hear the hit in the computer there is a delay of 0.3sec. i test it on two different computers and its happend both of them.The sound card in both computers is a cheap Onboard card. I use only snare drum for testing the megadrum. I'm aware that always will be a delay , but a delay of 0.2-0.3sec is to big. Any ideas?

If you are serious about latency you should also slim down your MegaDrum host OS.
For XP use http://www.nliteos.com/guide/ - and get permission to run the
megadrum config tool in offline mode
