Diodes...

Is it a sutable replacement to use BAT42 diodes instead of the BAT85 diodes?
I'm 95% sure it is due to there spec seming the same, but I'd definitly like to make sure. :)

Yes, you can replace BAT85 with BAT42/43

It might work. But I'd rather go with 1N5818 or 1N5819.

Edit: It has now become known that none of 1N5817/1N5818/1N5819 will work properly with MegaDrum. Avoid!

I was 1N5819, as you say, so I use it instead, I will try

i can't seem to find bat85 in any of the shops here in my place...
heres a few questions you might help me with...

1. is bat85 the same as schottky diode?
2.is there a substitute for the bat85?

i think 1n4148 can be alternative but confirm before using it.
