Strange thing in programming pic18f2250mcu

Postby ubaid88 » Wed Mar 18, 2009 3:16 pm

Well I connected usb for power and iscp to com port. When I transferred file to pic it was successful but there no detection by window as new usb device. When i tried again again it gave message programming error message. But next instant surprisingly window detected a new usb audio device. So do you think that everything went all right ?

And another thing is that iscp connector has 6 pins and only 4 are used. So i must with do with first and second pin. Do I have short then with jumper or something?

Thanks

Verify firmware in PIC18F2550 against firmware in the file to make sure they match. Also see this: http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=268

They're simply not used.

You'll need to power cycle Megadrum after the transfer for the OS to recongnise a new device again.
