Read the documentation carefully.
1) Enter the MD setting (press left or right)
2) Step the HH before the timeout puts you back at VU meter
3) Hit pad hard (above quick access threshold)
4) Go easy on the conclusion, chance are it's a user error.

Step and holding down HHcontroller is the switch to trigger the jump, when the pad is hit.Can you explain what stepping on the HH controller before it timesout back to the meters does?

Yes, it's standard procedure, explained in the documentation.Step and holding down HHcontroller is the switch to trigger the jump, when the pad is hit.Can you explain what stepping on the HH controller before it timesout back to the meters does?
It's very simple. Like turning the key before stepping on the gas or the car won't move
jeffbeckib wrote:Actually, I'm not using a HHController right now, cause MD won't work with my standard momentary sustain pedal, like my Trigger I/O does, so are you saying that without a HH Controller pedal this is how it will behave?
When set to Yes you can quickly jump between inputs in the Menu rather than navigate to each input using LEFT/RIGHT keys. First enter the Menu, then press the HiHat pedal and then hit a pad you want to configure. Whenever you hit another pad while still holding the HiHat pedal pressed and still in the Menu, it will jump to the last hit pad input.
When set to No you can quickly load next/previous drum map by pressing keys UP/DOWN while not in the Menu and holding the HiHat pedal pressed. May be useful for live performances to quickly load different drum maps?
