Firmware upgrade doesn't work

Hi,

I finally managed to get to the firmware upgrade page and tried to upgrade to the latest fw. The MCT reported a successful update, but the MD display was stuck with the "Send Sysex now" message. After rebooting the MD it showed the old firmware version on the fw info page.

It's a Synthex kit3 with Atmega32/16MHz/32 inputs, so the syx file I tried to use was megadrum32_16_32_20090528.syx. The old fw is v 090430.

What am I doing wrong?

It works if I follow Dmitri's instructions described in the "Updating MegaDrum firmware via bootloader with MIDI-OX" thread, so it seems the problem is related to some MCT settings. Any ideas?

Firmware upgrade in MCT is broken at the moment.

You must use midiox to update the firmware of your megadrum.
Make sure on the options menu to configure the low level output buffers.
Set to 60000.
The click view sysex, then sysex config.
Set a long delay.
Set to 100ms.
Actually all of this can be configured from this window.
You may have to erase the previous firmware upgrade, but try this first. :D
