Audio Jacks

Hi all,

I'm planning on picking up Synthex kit here in the next few weeks. From what I can tell, it does not come with the female 1/4" jacks. From the pictures I am seeing, I cannot find that style of jack anywhere in my area. The best I can find (both stereo and mono) is:

Will this work?

Thanks in advance.

That will work, but consider buying the stacked PCB mount jacks with the Synthex kit and analog PCBs... it really makes for a slicker install... unless of course you have some crazy enclosure idea, that is!

Am I correct in assuming that these are the correct stacked jacks?

I don't really have any idea's for crazy enclosures. I looked closer at the components list and it looks as though it does come with the audio jacks. Perhaps someone who has purchased the lasted MD from synthex or if synthex could confirm that would be awesome. I'm only about 2 weeks out in ordering it.

This is cheaper, but you would have to buy nuts for them also.

Thanks for the link Rubis. I don't think the nuts would be much of an issue; certainly not the £10 difference it would be for 15 of these for a full set :-) Right now I'm more concerned about Mouser's postage - £12 to the UK for orders under £50 :/ Would anyone out there be interested in splitting an order?

I got single stereo jack from Conrad for around 0,50 per unit.
These ware the cheapest I could find.

I would recommend single jacks because you can also use these in your e-drums and e-cymbals.
This way you might get a nice discount from the web-shop.
