Yamaha RHH135 hihat, will it send cc messages?

Hi, wondering if anyone has used a Yamaha RHH135 hihat controller with megadrum yet? I have been reading mixed things and people are saying it using a magnet or some kind of rare device for the dxtreme series modules and they wont work properly on Roland modules. I'm thinking of upgrading my cy5/fd8 combo in for this setup instead, just want to be sure it will give me the full range of cc control triggering vst's. Thanks, Kurt.

I am very curious about this as well as it is supposedly comparable to a VH12 (when used with the DTXtreme3 module) and is half the price. I am dying for a new hi hat setup and this would be my preference if it works.
Anybody tried it?

So no-one seems to be using this combination? I may take the "risk" and try one, since from what I've learnt (and I admit I don't understand much!) reading the Vdrums forum, the technical side is quite similar to the PCY-135 cymbal except for the controller internals. And PCY-135 has been reported to work fine.
But anyway, it would sure be nice to know if someone has succeeded - and to see some settings from where to start would be cool, too.
