Hi, Dmitri,
I post cause I wait some news for "Support for 6 zone Alesis style cymbals (that is still?) on its way"
I'm interessed first by curiosity (how Alesis could have made a 6 zones cymbal?!) and second because i'm working on a hand percussion where to have 6 zones could help me a lot.
Thanks

Wouldn't it be nice to have a 14 inches piezo? That way we could get a 127-zone cymbal!

Yes, I've heard tell that some can get a third zone with a full 7" ^ :o ^

not impossible actually. Mandala pads have 127 zones. the zones are switch triggered so u can only trigger one zone at a time and they are only triggered when struck directly (so no cross talk).

Yep very impressive indeed:

It's not a pretty looking drum, but that can change.
