Does anybody have pictures of an soldered 56i Syntex kit?
I'm a beginner with electrics and before I start soldering it I'd like to see if I interpreted the shematics right.

But I still would like to get a picture of the soldered input-kit and I don't know what switch I should buy for choosing wether I'd like to use USB-power or a PSU.

But I don't know in which direction they have to be adjusted.
Could anyone post a picture where I can see how to insert them?

ANother thing is, I'd like to know how to use this connectors:

- ISCP Atmega
Do I have to do anything with it??

- Encoders
Do I have to do anything with it??

- Powerselection
I'm thinking on only using USB-power wheater I use it as extension for my TD-12 or if I use it as a stand-alone-device with my computer.
When I use it with my TD-12 am I able to use a cellphone-power-supply? My mobile got an PSU which delivers 5V on an USB-port - I could connect this to the Megadrum and use it as source for the energy, couldn't I?

If this is possible, what do I have to do with the powerselection-connector?

And why do I have two USB-ports??
One on the main-module and one on the Input-kit.
Are they both the same or is there any difference?

No. This is a connection for programming the Atmega, yours came pre-programmed.

No. I don't think the kit comes with encoders. You can add those if you want a way to scroll through the menu options quicker.

Yes, you can use any usb power supply. I assume you will be connecting the TD-12 with midi cables?

Put the jumper on the usb side

You will have a set of four wires that connects the input board usb header to the main board usb header. This is how the power from your usb power supply gets to the main board. The two middle wires are for midi transfer if you are using usb to your computer. The two outside wires are your ground and +V.

I didn't mean those plugs which were connected by wire.
But there are two USB type-b ports. Do I have to care wether I use one for power and one for data-to-my-computer?

I don't know what this parts are called (except the green resistor-like part which must be the capacitor - i don't know in which direction to solder it...), so I can't search with google in which direction to solder them.
Or is there any special Synthex-Schme where I can have a look how to solder it?
The general sheme is to complicated for a noob like me

The green resistor-like part is most probably the inductor, all other parts (except those in top right of your picture) are capacitors, and have no polarity.

In which direction do I have to solder the capaciator?

And why do I have to connect those "USB ON"-connections?
Else USB is deactivated?
But if I connect them I still can use MIDI & USB?
Or are they for the Powerconnection?

C17, C16, C15, C13, C12, C11, C10, C9, C7, C6 are all those 104 labeled parts.

L1 is the green inductor.

C5 is the blue thing.

C14 and C8 are ?

C20 and C21 are ?

C18 and C19 are ?

Inductor doesn't have polarity either. It's soldering spot is just where L1 is printed on your board.

C14 and C8 are 1nF (labeled 102)

C20 and C21 are 15pF (labeled 15)

C18 and C19 are 22pF (labeled 22)

The blue cap is 470nF, and goes by the name of C5
