So you know... this can be done natively on a Mac using Sysex Librarian. Really easy to do, and the software is free. Just updated to the latest firmware with that. I've been very busy this week but I will try and look at some of the issues updating with MCT. I have the same issue as everyone else - namely that the erase firmware sysex gets sent, but the firmware never does.

i would be VERY appreciative if you would take your time to look at the issues.

the reason for my PC buy, is also/mostly to be able to control the MD by the MCT software alone and being able to save/load etc...from that app.

Yeah, people have been saying there are issues. However as I stated, I've not had any problems loading and saving to the MD. I hope to do some more extensive testing once I've completely finished building the MD and it's a bit easier to get into the bootloader.
