best software?

Postby beatzbounce321 » Mon Mar 01, 2010 4:28 am

What are the best sampling softwares to use to with megadrum in order to optimize the sensitivity of the connected edrum pads? I have turned up the gain and threshold of all my pads through the megadrum and they are still not sensitive enough with my current softwares. (Native Instruments Battery, EXS24)

thanks,
Michael

Sensitivity doesn't have anything to do with sampling software. What kind of pads do you use?

Use something like MIDI-OX to monitor what MIDI the MegaDrum is sending out. If you cannot reach 127 MIDI velocity on very strong hits, you've either got MegaDrum configured incorrectly (settings) or your pads are culprit.

What settings did you set for this pad?
How did you come to these settings?
