Default drum maps

Does megadrum has the same drum map settings for all the 15 presets in memory when you do the first boot?

If so, I have been thinking it could be great to add default drum maps that works with the common samplers used.
I have:
DFH Superior
DFH Custom & Vintage
ezdrummer
BFD
BFD 2.0
battery 3

I can get all the information about their default drum maps. So you (dmitri) set the default drum maps of megadrum with the maps from all of these samplers, and provide a list of them in the manual, for example:
DrumMap 1: ezdrummer
DrumMap 2: ezdrummer dfH
DrumMap 3: DFH Superior
DrumMap 4: BFD
and so on.
That way you can, by default, instantly load a drummap for your favourite sampler. Obviously you will have to make some changes after, because not all the people have 4 toms in their kits or have the same things connected to the correct inputs, but with that initial settings you have nearly everything mapped.

Do you find it interesting?

Hi!

I am also liking the idea! - Which would make the MegaDRUM to really rules on the market...even if it is a DIY project!
I would like to add XLN-Audio Addictive Drums(AD) to the list.

I have no idea regarding the mapping possabilities in MD (But..I think you already know the answer, Elrules..after 600+ posts at this forum)...and if it is possible to do or not.

But on the software side, I am guessing that you also need to include a map file also for each VST sampler. (Or should everything be designed for general midi?)

I have created a map for AD on my MD...plus a special ADMap file for AD which MD relates to. See the post: http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=761&p=20824#p20824
