Any SD3 users?

Hi!
I built my MD lite a couple of months ago and have used SD2. It has been working great considering I use a DIY kit as well. There are a lot of tweaks still to be done but totally useful as for now.
I bought SD3 a month ago and have just started to use it with MD. The sounds are amazing and the GUI is great. I have one only problem: SD3 crashes every time I change some pad setting in MD manager FX and send it to MD. This is annoying and totally stops the workflow. (It did not happen with SD2. I have also since then changed computer to a new MacBook Pro.)
Anybody who has an idea what that is all about?

Make sure SD3 is not attempting to use both Megadrum ports.

in MDMFX options:

Uncheck same In/Out

MIDI In: MegaDrum USB MIDI
MIDI Out: MIDIOUT2 (MegaDrum USB MIDI)

Uncheck Enable MIDI Thru

Also in the main MDMFX window: Uncheck MIDI2 for Sysex only.




in SD3 settings > Audio/MIDI Setup...

Check MIDIIN2 (MegaDrum USB MIDI) only.

Force MIDI input channel 10 for good measure.

This might solve your issue, hopefully.

I'm able to change my MDMFX settings on-the-fly without crashing SD3.
Plus you can start the programs in any order, after you save the changes in MDMFX.
