Yes, it recognized MD without select nothing and downloaded settings on slot 1 of my megadrum.with live editing i can change all i want on MD.The only thing i didn't try is to save on megadrum memory, but i think it's possible

Have you performed some more extensive testing of all the functionalities? I am very interested in knowing if it really works or not

Hi elrules,
I've done some reasonably extensive testing with the stock application. So long as you have MMJ installed and Java 1.5 (32-bit) selected in the Java Preferences, then MCT works fine with the exception of the firmware update, which I suspect must be to do with the way that large Sysex messages are sent. To clarify, under Leopard all settings can be loaded/saved to/from MD without issue.
Unfortunately this is not the case under Snow Leopard, which only includes Java 1.6. Although there is a 32-bit version, it doesn't work with MMJ. Since that is no longer supported, I'm in the process of writing a wrapper for CoreMIDI using Java's JNI interface for the MIDI SPI. Initial tests look promising - i.e. I can search for MIDI devices under Java etc, but there's still a large amount of work that needs to be done.

Snow leopard is the latest on, right?
Well, in that case we could also check:
http://www.mandolane.co.uk/swMandoMidi.htmlMaybe that is the quick solution (they have a 30 day free trial, check it out)
(there is another one, but I think it is not useful any more:
http://www.mandolane.co.uk/swPlumstone.html )
Also, now you have a working setup, could you check the libraries of these guys? You will have to remove before the mmj library so they don't conflict

Already tried it elrules. MCT can see MIDI hits but sending/receiving sysex doesn't seem to work.
