Thanks once again dmitri! Now i just need to recalibrate Superior 2.0 and it should be all good :D

One suggestion tho:

As Superior 2.0 has 5 different Open Hi-hat sounds, would it be possible to make the following?

In the Hi-Hat menu you could choose how many open/close sounds (In my case 5),then divide that across the CC range of 127 and last send out a different note depending on what range it is?

I think this can be done in one way in Superior by first have it to learn the Full open, then depress hi-hat slighly and learn that and so on, but the disadvantage would be that is no very accurate as you have to physically depress the hi-hat pedal.

Thanks again Dmitri!

Shouldn't a sampler, in your case Superior, take care of that based on a last CC value MegaDrum sent?

After searching the Toontrack site i found a document regarding this for Superior 1 and this also applies to 2.0, S2.0 will take care of this if done correctly! You need to assign the Closed Pedal, HatsCtrl, HatsTrig and HatsTipTrig if you have a dualzone hat. You must assign all keys sent by the module to HatsTrig and HatsTipTrig to get this to work correctly! In this case the OpenClose for Bow/Edge AND the Hi-Hat trigger Bow/Edge. And if the AutoLevel functionality is not giving the correct range you need to do this manually.

Phew, one learns something new everyday 8-)

Thanks,

Kari

I don't have VH-11 but if you describe what the problem is I might be able to suggest something.

First issue is I'm getting no positional readings whatsoever in MCT. I've tried every combination of Type, AltIn and LvlsRevers. The only reading I've got is when set to Type F.Control I get an open reading of around 35 which drops down a few points at a time every time I press the pedal.

I'm completely in the dark here :)

What settings are required for this unit for other hi hat pedal settings? Is it F.Contr or Pot, AltIn yes or no, LvlsRevers yes or no?

It must be F.Contr.
Don't forget that the AltIn setting is tied with the position of the right switch on the front. I'm guessing you should leave AltIn as 'No' and set the switch to 'Low impedance' position. Guessing again, but I think LvsRevers should be left as 'No' as well.

Thanks - I've got a proper variable position reading now. I should be able to figure out the rest.
