Tongs to bend and cut components. Nothing fancy, just the cheapest there is.

An empty circuit board to test my soldering skills.

I'll probably won't use a multimeter at all so there goes all my seriousness out the window. The reason is, I think Synthex pictures are so clear...and I've never spend any time reading how to use the d***n multimeter. I might consider learning how to use it if there's components on the MegaDrum that looks exactly the same but have different values. Btw, is that the case?

Nope, for the most part all of the parts are pretty easy to tell apart. Some of the small caps might be tough to tell if you mix them up, but a cap tester can easily sort that out if you have one on your multimeter. If not, it's a very handy tool to have if you dable much in electronics.

My tool set arrived today!

Workstation is now set up and I'll soon test my soldering skills on the experiment card.
