LCD problem

Postby alkama » Sun Apr 11, 2010 7:34 pm

Hi,
I programmed my PIC18LF2550, and i think it's ok.Then i use MCT to update firmware, this is the log:

21:25:23 INFO: Initialization started
21:25:23 INFO: Configuration file read successfully
21:25:23 INFO: Pad names file read successfully
21:25:23 INFO: Input names file read successfully
21:25:26 INFO: MIDI IN connection opened
21:25:26 INFO: MIDI OUT connection opened
21:25:26 INFO: Megadrum settings from last session read successfully
21:25:26 INFO: Initialization finished
21:25:27 INFO: NEW Megadrum's firmware has been released:
20100126
21:26:01 INFO: Opening MIDI port to send firmware...
21:26:01 INFO: Sending firmware...
21:26:19 INFO: Firmware was sent. Now closing...
21:26:19 INFO: FIRMWARE UPDATED!

The LCD shine, but there are no any mark on this.

All connections with PCB are ok.

Where is the problem?

By the way, should megadrum be showed in 'My computer' when it be connected by USB?

Thanks.

I wonder why the LCD topic is not sticky. Was it not before?

A question from the "support staff" I presume :-)

Also I think that the firmware might not have been updated properly.

alkama, did you program ATMega with a bootloader using a parallel programmer + PonyProg prior to attempting to update the firmware via MCT?

The LCD topic (and several others) is referenced from the sticky MegaDrum FAQ topic. Too many sticky topics and you will only see them on the first page of the subforum.
