Atmega bulk order

Postby einkahumor » Wed Jun 02, 2010 12:35 am

Hi.

I plan to order an Atmega644-20PU with the new encrypted bootloader from Dmitri and would those of you who have Atmega MCUs to join me (if you want) in a bit of a bulk order. That way Dmitri can order a bunch of chips at once and save us all some money. It takes only 3 Atmega644-20PUs to eliminate shipping cost from Farnell and if there's 10 or more there's a 46% discount! (Unless I'm mistaken). Of course, the other Atmegas can also be a part of this order. Once Dmitri has the order, he'll load the new bootloader onto them and ship the appropriate chips to each of us.

Anyone want to join?

Edit 201006021434:
Please be specific about what chip you need and how many (max 2 per person). You wouldn't want to get the wrong chip!

Update 201006071318:
This order is now closed and ready. Thanks for joining guys. Those of you who didn't join will have to start a new order or pay a little extra and order separately.

You can count me in (Atmega644-20PU)! So now we are two 8-) Anyone else? One more and we'll get rid of shipping costs. 8 more and the discount kicks in!

Do you guys all want the 644? Please be specific so there won't be any misunderstanding! Wouldn't want you to get the wrong chips.

Very interesting question! Will Synthex provide kits with the new encrypted bootloader? I had planned to buy another Synthex kit for home practice once I have my first one (currently on it's way) up and running.

You will need to send it to me to have it re-programmed.
