sensivity and cone

Postby Maylord.war » Fri Aug 20, 2010 6:12 pm

Hi guys!

I have buyed this cone

http://cgi.ebay.com/5-foam-cone-trig...efaultDomain_0

I have connected this cone with your piezo in my trigger to midi "Megadrum"

but the sensivity are bad

in small strokes, or fast strokes, the sound does not respond correctly, this is my snare at the photo, I used a bar of wood to make the base and a top that you can adjust the springs, where the piezo is connected cone.

when I try to bounce free stick the piezo receives only the first two or three signals are strongest and then in the subsequent bounces is silence. How can I resolve this problem? I have to change the base with aluminum? or cones are not good?

if anyone have this cone please post your good setting of parameters of megadrum

sorry for my english, best regards

Chris
