No. The problem is definitely with OS/software configuration.

I've tried 4 different PCs with 3 different OS and always had the same behaviour...
I should mention that i'm not blaming your software or looking for bugs, i'm sure the problem is based on my design, but i simply can't find out where.

It can if you're able to interpret the raw USB data.

WinXP on two PCs, Win7 32bit, Win7 64bit.

I also tried different USB cables, but honestly i didn't expect any changes by that.

You may systematically, without realizing it, make the same configuration change in Windows OS which triggers the problem. Try Linux or Mac OS.

Two of the PCs where not mine, I just installed MidiOX and connected MD..

But anyway, I'll ask a friend for his macbook, let's see what happens.

Another possibility, and in fact more likely, is that your PIC is playing up. Try to reprogram it, check for bad soldering/connection around it.
