Latency...

hi,
There seems to be a slight latency issue...
I have tried both through the MIDI and the USB. Was using the old Synthex (non encrypted firmware) and happen to read that the new version has been tweaked for better USB speeds (USB 3) and hence got the latest PIC and the Atmega (encrypted) and the latency has reduced to a large extent but nevertheless there seems to be some latency...
Any tips / pointers would help.

I am using a ASIO driver only.. but the latency that I talking about is the time taken from the time I hit a pad to the time I get a signal in my recording software as a MIDI trigger..

How did you measure the latency?
