The scale doesn't match on the pcb gif.
According to photosh*p the printsize is 18,06cm x 19,65cm. (72dpi)
Can you repost it as a pdf?

Hi Synthex,

I haven't managed the MIDI firmware to work. Ironically, I'm having the same problem you had with AVR-CDC - upon connection Windows says the device is malfunctioning and etc. The weird thing is that your CDC firmware works fine. Any clue?

What programmer do you use?
How did you set the fuses?

I thought both your CDC and MIDI firmwares had fuses settings included in the .hex. Am I wrong? I used a JDM programmer. I couldn't make WinPic800 to recognise my JDM programmer and Icprog doesn't yet list PIC18F2550 (tried setting it to PIC18F4550 but for some reason it only writes first 1000h words) so I used PICPgm which worked well.

I don't have much knowledge about ICs but I stumbled upon this diy MIDI site of Thorsten http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_usb_pic.html while looking for other possible options for USB MIDI modules. He said something about a bug on PIC18F ICs. Maybe that's why Dmitri's unit does not work?

Just my 2 cents, hehe. :D

I've known of this bug for quite some time. This bug doesn't have anything to do with my problem and is irrelevant to MegaDrum in general.

The height is 44 mm exactly.

Why not post the cad file also? :D

This bug no longer exists with the new versions.

Fuses are settings in the .hex and JDM programmer is good.
I use WinPic800 with a GTP-USB Plus.

Could you test this one ?
