Newbie just trying to make it work

Greetings,

I am still trying to get my MegaDrum to work correctly. For some reason it worked fine on a friend's laptop with Garage Band, so I think it is wired correctly. And now on my Mac tower, it seems to be messed up.

When I power it up, the top row LCD is all white (blocked out) and the bottom row is blank. The triggers all trigger only D#.

I tried to update the firmware, but when I power on with the left button pushed in, the same LCD display mentioned above happens. The midi light flashes, but the up/down buttons have no effect.

Any idea how I can reset Megadrum and/or software?

I have Mac OSX 10.6.8

The LCD is connected incorrectly
The LCD is broken
The LCD cable is damaged
Atmega can also be damaged if the LCD has been connected incorrectly.
