1. How did you set the HighLevel?
2. After you've configured the HighLevel did you follow the steps from viewtopic.php?p=20543#p20543 (as everson suggested) to configure the mesh head?

1. I used the autoHighLevel and roughly decreased it to my likings, it's around 300-400.
2. Yes I did, but the strange thing that comes to me before the steps was light hits done on the side of the drum head were not detected at all, I had my threshold already set to minimum(just above when the statics trigger the input), it just seems like the pads are so insensitive on the outer ring of the mesh head while on the same setting and tension the Roland's captured just all of those light hits on the side.
Let's fix a problem at a time, I'm not worrying about false triggering/fast rolls yet, how can I fix the sensitivity issue on the side?

Did you try raising the cone a bit?
Beside that, I would also lower the resistance ...

I have my cone height set just right, as I don't like feeling of the cone sticking up too much.
The cone height setting works on TD-6, so I guess it would work just as well on megadrum.
After removing the resistors, thus a hot pad, all my light hits on the side give a blink on the red signal light, so I know they are detected, that's a good sign.
Now I have to cool my pads down, but I have no idea how much I should cool down and what combination of resistors I should use for voltage dividers, also does high resister value matter if it is just the ratio that determines the voltage divided? Or should I go with may be a 10k resister to replace the 100k?

Ok, so you want to fix the rim first. Without you indicating you did it, I'm guessing your sensitivity problem on the rim is because you didn't configure DualMidPoint. Anyway, let's start from scratch.
1. Start with all default settings.
1. Disable the head by setting Note to 0. Make sure DualHead is set to No (as per default)
2. Now hit the rim hard a dozen of times. What HighLevel value do you get in the rim?

No, what I mean by the "side" is the outer edge of the drum head furthest from the center cone.
I wouldn't care about the rim until my head settings are perfect.

Ah, I see.
1. Don't use the voltage divider.
2. Then disable the rim again.
3. Now hit the head hard a dozen of times. What HighLevel value do you get in the head?

Now, still without the voltage divider what is the sensitivity on the outer side hits?

Yes, I have already mentioned that after removing the voltage divider the outer side hits are detected much better with the red signal light blinking. But I know I have a hot pad, and I need a voltage divider to fix it, once I install the resistors the outer side becomes insensitive, what can I do?

Still without the voltage divider.
1. Start with default settings again.
2. In Misc settings set 'All Gains Low' to Yes.
3. Make sure HighLevel on the head is 64.
4. Hit the head hard a dozen of times. What HighLevel value do you get in the head?
