And voltage readings are rock solid?

ibanman555, do you have a 10k-20k potentiometer. If you have it, could you make a mock device jut like mine?

1. Take a 10k potentiometer.
2. Solder the wiper terminal to the tip.
3. Take one constant 10k resistor and solder one side of it to one of the remaining terminals of the pot and and another side to the sleeve (ground).
3. Take another constant 10k resistor and solder it between the tip and the ring. This is the same resistor as was used by you before between tip and ring.

Ok, that's easy enough. I only have a 100k pot, so I will reduce it using more resistors to equal a 20k potentiometer. I will be back online within 2 hours max... sorry have to run errands for the wife. Hope we can continue around 9:30pm your time... Thanks

Leave the mock device for now. Please, load this firmware:
megadrum_20121207_2.zip

On the low impedance input with a resistor:

1. Set LevelsAuto to No
2. Set LowLevel to 11
3. Set HiLevel to 1023
4. Set CC RdcLvl to 0.

What are "raw level" readings between 100% and 0%?
I have high hopes on this firmware.

Looks good!

1. Set Big VU meter to Yes
2. Set LowLevel to 840
3. Set HighLevel to 910

Now exit the menu and watch the VU meter while slowly pressing the pedal and then slowly depressing it. What do you observe?
