Megadrum with Hart Dynamic set

Postby PM5KHumanFly » Sun Mar 10, 2013 6:20 pm

I am thinking of purchasing a megadrum. I currently use a Hart Dynamics Studio Master 6.4. I was wondering if anyone had experience using Hart Dynamics with Megadrum. I did a search and found a few old post about Hard dynamics being "too hot". I was wondering if anyone has found a solution or if recent megadrum firmware updates have fixed this problem. Thanks in advance for any tips or thoughts!

Megadrum is extremely flexible with settings and simply placing a resistor or potentiometer in line of your drum pad is a easy fix. There are many different options and id personally be happy to help you out getting it working well!

ibanman...I appreciate your help! Is the potentiometer something I can just plug into the line or will it take soldering? Is this something I can pick up at radioshack or online?
Thanks again!

There would be some soldering involved

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

You can see the voltage divider schematic in http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtop ... 911#p11911. The very basic soldering skill are enough and you certainly can find potentiometers in your local radioshack and online.
