Once the copyright screen has gone this is what I get. After reading through the page you send it would seem like as I just have the analogue board connected to the digital board with the LCD, that it may be registering the pedal as always open ? Any ideas here. Attached are the boards and what displays on the LCD.

Ok. Thanks. So been going through the forum and up to page 13 with still no mention of this issue. Sorry to pester but please could you link me to where it has been answered. Either that or could you advise what the topic may be under ??

my only issue is that the first block in the vu mode is on full but think this is because i dont have anything connected at all. however, cant find any other posts on here where it talks about it.

Why do you think that the HiHat pedal position VU-meter being full is an issue?

its not an issue but dont know it it means that the pedal is going to be always on or always off even when add a variable, like i said i have got anything connected up atm, i literally have the analogue board, digital board and the lcd then plugged in over usb,

i have noticed that the lcd looks the same here -

same as mine, the first pic shows the first bar on the lcd is up full

Thanks Dmitry for the great idea!

Now I think about rebuild the circuit for use a graphic display of mobile or PlayStation and PIC MCU only. When I`ll have something concrete I`ll post it here.
