Custom Curves

Would it be possible to increase the amount from 4 to 8? Are there any implications

Technically, the only implication is that for curves selection I use 4 bits which gives 16 possible choices. Either I will have to reduce the number of predefined curves to increase the number of custom curves or increase the number of bits for curves selection. Both options will require changes in MDM and MDCommander - more in the second case.

After some thought I decided that I'll make all curves custom. With default settings the first 12 custom curves will replicate predifined curves.

That is fantastic for me, and really, beyond linear, I think anything else could be described as custom.

I have my own reasons for this with wiring one piezo to two or more inputs but, once again, another fantastic feature. Many thanks Dmitri

I just released a new firmware version with all Curves now custom. I also released a new MDM version with support for it. I will update MDCommander for iPad/iPhone/Android a bit later.

Dmitri
Whats the reasoning behind the low value of the curve being 2? I was hoping to route 1 piezo to 2 inputs and then layer the note ouputs via different curves.

I've overlayed the 2 curves.

Sorry, I don't think I understood the question or the problem description.

I got it now. MIDI velocities range from 1 to 127 (0 is the same as Note Off). In the Custom curves graph values range from 2 to 255 which corresponds to MIDI velocities from 1 to 127.
