hi,
after really deep testing of the megadrum i'm really delighted about what can be achieved with this little box...
in order to have 2box pads trigger perfectly i had to use a 2ply mesh head (drumtec) since the original was still to lively.
however i'd like to really understand, what the parameters are doing, e.g. which thresholds/ratios are considered for analysing the waveform.
threshold: this seems to work as a "gate", for which signals below are generally neglected.
dynlevel: this seems to define the minimum deviation from one spike to another, dropping any spike <min deviation
dyntime: this seems to define the minium time to pass for subsequent "dynlevel accepted" spikes
can one say dyntime is a "subparameter" of the dynlevel - so to speak the falsetrigger-function? or are both operating independently on the signal?
dmitiri, it would be great if you could have a look and let me know whether i'm on the right path...
thanks and regards,
tim
