Can I use ATMEGA 32A instead of ATMEGA 32? I think I can!

Is ATMEGA32A same as ATEMGA32? Can I use it on the megadrum? Or do I need to edit the firmware for ATMEGA32A?

In the market these chips do not have 32-16 pu. They are out of production ((
Can I replace the 32a pu????? And will it work di??

I have been using ATMEGA 32A and is working fine!
