Hi,
I plugged my FD-8 foot HH controler on my 56i MD (HH pedal/controler input) and I get midi events while I do not activate the HH pedal...and I get no sound of the pedal controler but get sound of the HH cymbal (I use AD)

Do you have any idea about this kind of midi events?

These are CC4 MIDI messages. If the pedal is not configured correctly you may get these messages even if you don't touch the pedal.

I read on this forum that I've to solder a resistor on it!...is that where the pb comes ?

Did you try to configure it before deciding to solder anything? What configuration settings did you come up with? What are the problems when using with these settings?

I've configured the HH pedal controler with settings that I found on the forum, so now I've sound from the both (HHpedal and HH cymbal) but I still 've se same midi events only when the HH pedal controler is in "open" position, I explain, if I press the sensor of the HH pedal controler I don't have any midi events that goint to MD...I' don't understand where the pb comes...

So you just took these settings without modifying them?
Did you try to adjust LowLevel and HighLevel according to http://www.megadrum.info/content/hihat-pedal-settings ?

Did you try all possible settings combinations? If no, then what actually did you try to adjust and how?
