For example, a single piezo is connected to both the head and rim.

The linear curve, on the head, as shown could be a snare.

The other curve could be a rim shot. Only need that to come in at high velocity.

The low value for any curve is 2, but this is still triggering a sound, albeit at low volume.

Are there practical reasons for this value being 2 rather than 0?

Sorry cross post.

So 2 is the lowest?. Still getting a sound so I need to program this out elsewhere?

Yes. If you don't want a piezo to trigger a sound for low velocity hits, look at the Cut Off function in http://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings

Fair point. I shall have a closer look at that.

So the anote value equates to a (secondary threshold) velocity?

When set to CutOff the 'ANote' setting changes it meaning to 'cut off' level - hits with velocities below level set in 'ANote' will not trigger Note On/Off messages.

Should it be re-phrased differently?

After a couple of readings it clicked. I think 'cut off' led me to think it was something else.

Yet another great feature.

Just a thought Dmitri, would it be easier to simplify the names to say 'curve 1', 'curve 2' etc?

I don't know. I think it's still helpful to have some meaningful names for the first 12 curves even though they are now fully custom - you just first choose a curve which is closest to your need and you adjust it slightly. If none of the first 12 curves is close to what you need you choose one of the last 4 curves.
